From the '90s-gotta be Smashing Pumpkins (love me some Gish), Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Hole (yes, I still love Courtney no matter how nuts she gets), Garbage, Stone Temple Pilots, Social Distortion, Tool, Del Amitri and Jellyfish (80s and 90s stuff), Nine Inch Nails, Rancid,Bad Religion, Reel Big Fish, Sublime, Veruca Salt, Urge Overkill, early Green Day, Blink 182, NOFX, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Pennywise, Blur, OASIS, Pulp, Neds Atomic Dustbin, Radiohead (the Bends is such a great album), etc. and so forth! I also loved a lot of the one hit wonders from that era like Propellerheads.

Currently: Against Me, Muse, Shiny Toy Guns, Silversun Pickups, Amy Winehouse, Vampire Weekend, The Editors, Paramore, My Chemical Romance, White Stripes, The Killers...

Current guilty pleasure: FLO Rida-"Low." Although you will NEVER see me in Apple Bottom jeans.

Non-alternative stuff-Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi (from New Jersey, can't help it), Pat Benatar (remember Judge Reinhold was in the "Shadows of the Night" video?), Aerosmith, Def Leppard ("Animal" is a guilty pleasure of mine), Van Halen (not so much Van Hagar, although Sammy was a doll when I interviewed him. Nice guy).
I like everything. If it has a hook, I love it!

About Me:: I'm a television lover.I used to live for Melrose Place on Monday Nights. Got to love the Amanda/Alison Parker drama, right? I guess it goes back to when I was addicted to Dynasty in the '80s. But I digress.

I watch American Idol all the time. I'm a HUGE fan of Lost. So, who is in the casket?? Anyone? Anyone?

Aside from the boob tube, I'm pretty busy. I freelance for The Trenton Times (www.njtimes.com). I have interviewed a diverse roster of people like Patti Labelle, Smokey Robinson, Jason Wade from Lifehouse, John Keefe, the drummer from Boys Like Girls, and assorted community figures. I used to write for the Aquarian Weekly and The Asbury Park Press (a highlight? Interviewing Ozzy Osbourne the day after he injured his back trying to lift a mattress).

I'm also a mom to three kids. As a matter of fact, the picture on this site was taken when I was pregnant with #3. I plan to lose more baby weight and update as soon as possible! HA!

It's good to be back on the air at GROCK. I feel like this has been my home since 1992. Gosh, has it been that long? I started back when it was still FM1063 and Matt Pinfield was doing afternoon drive. Hard to believe I'm only 21. HA!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGH! GAS!!!!

It just went over $4 at my gas station. $4. 4 FREAKING DOLLARS. The sad part is we will probably remember those prices as the good old days, if this doesn't get rectified soon. I had a horrific week last week. My poor son fell into a glass table and had to go the the emergency room. Four stitches later, he comes home and again tries to jump off my couch. Gdiapers, Cloth Diapers, Disposable debate

A friend of mine just informed me that her pool club is now enforcing a rule: Huggies Swimmie diapers are no longer acceptable. The only diapers permitted are these biodegradable diapers, and right now the name escapes me. So I googled and came up with the Julia Roberts approved Gdiapers. They''re allegedly flushable. Mmmmkay. so I did some more research-the diapers aren't the flushable part (the diapers appear to be identicle to cloth diapers) but these inserts are. I diaper two children. That… Continue
